The Royal Government

- Having seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

- Having seen Reach Kret No. NS/RKT/1198/72 of November 30, 1998 regarding the Establishment of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

- Having seen Reach Kram No. 02/NS/94 of July 20, 1994, promulgating the Law on the organization and functioning of the Council of Ministers;

- Having seen Reach Kram No. NS/RKM/0196/27 of January 626, 1996, promulgating the Law on the Organization and Functioning of the National Bank of Cambodia;

- Pursuant to the proposal of the Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia;

DECIDES

Article 1:

Capital of the National Bank of Cambodia shall be fixed in the amount of 100,000,000,000.00 (one hundred thousand million) Riels.

Article 2:

The National Bank of Cambodia shall register this capital in full amount into its balance sheet.

Article 3:

This capital shall be registered and exclusively maintained by the Royal Government and may not be transferred or encumbered in any way whatsoever.

Article 4:

Any provisions that are contrary to this Anukret shall be deemed abrogated.

Article 18:

The Senior Minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia and all relevant Ministers and Secretaries of Sate shall effectively implement this Anukret from the date of signature.
